Culture Management, Sinology
Prof. Dr. Florian C. Reiter has studied Sinology, Philosophy
and Political Sciences in Munich and Taiwan. In Munich,he
attained an MA and a Ph.D in Financial Statements.
Participation
in the project "Presentation of Bibliographic Taoist Canon"
("Tao-tsang Project") of the European Science Foundation and
the DFG (Bonn). The project was conducted at the University
of Würzburg for the German side. Then Habilitation Sinology
at the University of Wuerzburg, receipt of a Heisenberg
scholarship, at times a guest lecturer at the University of
Heidelberg in Heidelberg and also participate in a project
on the culture of the Taoist priest (DFG). Various projects
for field research (Religion in China) in Sichuan, China,
DFG-funded in collaboration with the Academy of Social
Sciences, Sichuan Province. Since 1994 professor of
premodern Chinese culture at the Humboldt University in
Berlin.
