It invited Korean scholar Bing-shou Wu and associate professor
Ya-lan Liu, Department of Digital Humanities, Aletheia
University, to the workshop on art and literature to deliver
speeches at 1 p.m. at the conference hall, 1st floor of
Bainian Building, National Chengchi University (NCCU).
Activities Introduction
The workshop was hosted by the team “Modern Transformation and Cross-discipline Studies of art and literature” from the top-university project “the Formation of Modern China” of NCCU. The team is led by chair professor Fang-ming Chen. It tries to inspect what kind of connections among each field of Taiwanese literature and art as well as modern China and eastern Asia. This time the Korean scholar Wu talked about the topic “How modern Korea formed their liberalism?” and compared it with China. While associate professor Liu analyzed the implication of the three visual kind of pieces from the perspectives of gender issues and historical origins.
